A lithophane is a 3D-printed photo that comes to life when light shines through it from the back. Magical, right?

How does it work?

1. On the outside, you only see white
You’ll just see a white 3D relief. But… the real image is hidden inside the
lithophane.

2. Inside, there’s a hidden color photo
We print using four colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, and white), layer by layer.
The colors are printed on top of each other, just like a regular printer, but in
3D.

3. It only comes to life with light
Once light shines through from the back, the full-color photo magically appears
